We have expert betting tips for the 2020 Workday Charity Open, which is the next stop on the PGA Tour.
Bryson DeChambeau gave us reason to smile last week as he came through at odds of $7. There is plenty more value available for punters this week as we look at the best betting opportunities.
Justin Thomas heads an even betting market and there are a host of chances.
Workday Charity Open Preview
Workday Charity Open Best Bet – Viktor Hovland @ $21
Viktor Hovland is nearing his second PGA Tour win after another consistent performance at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
He finished in a tie for 12th after shooting a disappointing –1 on his final round. However, there is plenty to like about his game and winning again on the Tour is only a matter of time.
The Norwegian is only 22 years old and he has already won the Puerto Rico Open. The field didn’t contain any superstars but he represents great value this week.
Punters should take the $21 on offer and his odds should firm throughout the week.

Workday Charity Open Best Value – Patrick Reed @ $34
Patrick Reed is coming off a missed cut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which was a surprising result but he could bounce back in style.
Reed can be a tough player to follow but once he finds some confidence, he can string wins together. The American is a frequent winner on the Tour and his experience will take him a long way.
He is ranked inside the Top 10 in the world and not many golfers with that ranking would be paying $34, so take the value on offer.

Workday Charity Open Top Australian – Cameron Percy @ $9
Cameron Percy hasn’t played well since lockdown ended but he could cause an upset against his fellow Australians.
The 46-year-old is the fifth favourite in the market behind Marc Leishman, but Leishman hasn’t been playing great golf either.
Therefore, if Percy can get off to a good start in Round 1, he will be the value pick of the bunch. He only needs to start limiting his big scores and he could find himself in the first half of the leaderboard.

Workday Charity Open Top 10 Betting Predictions
Betting in the Top 10 market is a great way to find value and we have three quality golfers to bet on this week.
Justin Thomas heads the betting and he is our best Top 10 pick. Thomas is one of the best golfers on the planet and punters are getting better than even odds, so the $2.30 is good shopping.
He had a rest last week and that break could be enough to see Thomas regain his best form. His odds should firm throughout the tournament as he likes to get off to a good start.
Hideki Matsuyama is getting close to a win and he played well at times last week. He finished just outside the Top 20 and that was mostly because of a poor final round.
He looked good in Round 1 of The Players before the tournament got called off, so anything close to that form would be good enough.
Matsuyama is one of the favourites to win the Workday Charity Open, so get a little more insurance with a Top 10 bet at odds of $2.88.
The final golfer we are including at odds is Jordan Spieth. It has been some fall from grace for Spieth, who was on top of the golfing world a couple of years ago.
However, the talent is there and he only needs his confidence back. Putting has been the main reason for his slip in form but punters are getting odds worth the risk.
We would have only dreamed of getting $6 for a Top 10 finish for Spieth, so snap up those odds and expect a return to form.
