NFL Week 16 Predictions, Picks & Betting Odds

We have expert betting predictions for Week 16 of the 2021 NFL season, which starts with the 49ers vs Titans.

There are 16 games this week for punters to enjoy, so the betting opportunities are endless. We preview every game for all 18 weeks of the regular season and the playoffs.

NFL Week 16 Picks

San Francisco 49ers vs Tennessee Titans @ Nissan Stadium

Covid is wreaking havoc with the Titans, who could be without numerous players on Friday.

Bookmakers have the 49ers as favourites despite being the inferior team, but due to the available players, we have to go with the visitors.

They should be too strong for the Titans given the circumstances.

Betting tip: San Francisco 49ers -3

49ers by 7

Cleveland Browns vs Green Bay Packers @ Lambeau Field

The Green Bay Packers have yet to lose at home from six attempts and we don’t think Cleveland will ruin that record.

The Browns are another team hit with unavailable players, but even at full strength, we feel comfortable taking the Packers to score an easy win.

Betting tip: Green Bay Packers –7.5

Packers by 10

Indianapolis Colts vs Arizona Cardinals @ State Farm Arena

The Cardinals looked awful against the lowly Detroit Lions last week, so we have lost confidence in them.

Therefore, we suggest taking the surging Indianapolis Colts, who put the New England Patriots to the sword.

The betting market is closing up and the Colts could firm into favouritism.

Betting tip: Indianapolis Colts

Colts by 7

Detroit Lions vs Atlanta Falcons @ Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The Lions are good enough to pull off the odd upset, but we’re going with the Atlanta Falcons at home.

They are 6-8 on the season, which isn’t bad considering how poorly they have played at times. We think they’ll look to close out the season on a positive note and potentially push for a winning record.

The current line of –6 is a favourable one for Falcons’ backers.

Betting tip: Atlanta Falcons –6

Falcons by 7

Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals @ Paul Brown Stadium

We’re not sure how the Ravens have fallen to 8-6, but it hasn’t been pretty.

There has been steady money for the Bengals since markets opened and it looks like a good bet given the pressure on the Ravens.

Joe Burrow could have a field day against the Ravens defence, so take the Bengals to win.

Betting tip: Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals by 8

Los Angeles Rams vs Minnesota Vikings @ U.S. Bank Stadium

That was more like it from the Rams, who got back to their best with a win earlier this year.

They have been excellent for the most part, but the odd poor outing puts doubt in the minds of punters.

We have little faith in the Vikings, so our money is going on the Rams to improve to 11-4.

Betting tip: Los Angeles Rams

Rams by 6

Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots @ Gillette Stadium

New England got the better of Buffalo only a few weeks ago in torrid conditions. We think a repeat could be on the cards.

We wouldn’t worry too much about the Patriots loss to the Colts last week. It was expected in that situation and returning home is a positive.

Punters get $1.71 for the Patriots, which is good shopping.

Betting tip: New England Patriots

Patriots by 4

Jacksonville Jaguars vs New York Jets @ MetLife Stadium

Fans won’t be flocking to see these teams in action. They have won a combined five games and we’re not sure which team is worse.

Given the Jaguars fired coach Urban Meyer and lost poorly last week, we’re going with the Jets to produce the goods.

We wouldn’t risk too much on this game as it won’t be pretty.

Betting tip: New York Jets

Jets by 3

New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles @ Lincoln Financial Field

The Philadelphia Eagles have improved to 7-7 on the back of solid football, so we expect them to thrash the Giants.

The current spread is –10, which is a sizable line for a team like the Eagles, but there is little faith with the Giants.

New York is in give up mode and they won’t be taking our money.

Betting tip: Philadelphia Eagles -10

Eagles by 14

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers @ Bank of America Stadium

It hasn’t been all smooth sailing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but they should have no problems against Carolina.

Tom Brady will be filthy with his performance in losing 9-0 to the Saints last week, which was a shocking performance.

They could take their anger out on the Panthers.

Betting tip: Tampa Bay Buccaneers –10.5

Buccaneers by 14

Los Angeles Chargers vs Houston Texans @ NRG Stadium

A thrashing is expected when the Los Angeles Chargers take on the Houston Texans on Monday.

The Texans have been one of the worst teams in the NFL and the Chargers have an explosive team on their day.

We can see this game being a one-sided affair, so take the Chargers to come out ahead.

Betting tip: Los Angeles Chargers –10.5

Chargers by 20

Chicago Bears vs Seattle Seahawks @ Lumen Field

Backing either team with confidence is nearing impossible, but the Seahawks should account for the Bears.

Playing at home should help the struggling Seahawks, who have lost their identity. However, the Bears choked last week and they’re no better.

Take Seattle to score a narrow win.

Betting tip: Seattle Seahawks

Seahawks by 4

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City Chiefs @ GEHA Field

The Steelers have been playing better over the last few weeks and they could be competitive against the Chiefs.

Kansas City has been one of the hottest teams of late, but there are some injury concerns in the camp and Pittsburgh is good enough to keep it close.

Take the +7.5, which is a healthy line.

Betting tip: Pittsburgh Steelers +7.5

Chiefs by 3

Denver Broncos vs Las Vegas Raiders @ Allegiant Stadium

It’s an important game for both teams but we’re giving the slight edge to the Denver Broncos.

They are more reliable under pressure than the Raiders, who typically like to beat themselves in the big games.

$1.93 is a good price for the visitors.

Betting tip: Denver Broncos

Broncos by 7

Washington Football Team vs Dallas Cowboys @ AT&T Stadium

The Cowboys are still travelling nicely this season with a 10-4 record and Washington shouldn’t pose much of a threat.

They are 4-2 at home and although punters have to take a sizable betting spread, we wouldn’t be backing Washington in this situation.

Take the –10.5 for the Cowboys.

Betting tip: Dallas Cowboys –10.5

Cowboys by 14

Miami Dolphins vs New Orleans Saints @ Caesars Superdome

Defence stood up for the New Orleans Saints when beating the Buccaneers 9-0 last week.

It was a tough effort against one of the best teams in the competition, so the Miami Dolphins shouldn’t pose much of a threat.

Punters get a value line at –3.

Betting tip: New Orleans Saints -3

Saints by 7
