NFL Week 13 Preview
Dallas Cowboys vs New Orleans Saints @ Caesars Superdome
A win is much-needed for the Cowboys and Saints, but we’re giving the edge to the visiting Cowboys.
Despite some rough form over the last few weeks, they are playoff bound and Dak Prescott is due another big performance at quarterback.
We’re happy with the –4.5 line as we have little confidence in the Saints.
Betting tip: Dallas Cowboys –4.5
Cowboys by 7
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons @ Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Bookmakers are giving the Atlanta Falcons 11 points, but it shouldn’t be enough against the Buccaneers.
Tom Brady has the defending champions going along nicely, and although they are only 3-3 on the road, Atlanta isn’t playing well.
The Buccs should score comfortably by two touchdowns.
Betting tip: Tampa Bay Buccaneers –11
Buccaneers by 14
Arizona Cardinals vs Chicago Bears @ Soldier Field
The Cardinals, with or without Kyler Murray, are tearing through the opposition this season.
They have improved to 9-2, and despite moderate form over the last three weeks, they are perfect on the road and should have no problems beating Chicago.
The Bears got the win last week but the level of opposition should be too much for them to handle on Monday.
Betting tip: Arizona Cardinals –7.5
Cardinals by 10
Los Angeles Chargers vs Cincinnati Bengals @ Paul Brown Stadium
We couldn’t have been more impressed with the Bengals last week when destroying the Steelers.
They looked like a playoff team in the making, and although the Chargers present a different challenge, the Bengals are well-placed to win again.
The sportsbook has the home team at $1.58 to win, which is a fair line for a team boasting high confidence levels.
Betting tip: Cincinnati Bengals
Bengals by 7
Minnesota Vikings vs Detroit Lions @ Ford Field
The Lions found another way to lose on Thanksgiving Day, and we’ve given up thinking that they’ll win a game this season.
A much better team to follow are the Vikings, who are at 5-6, but within range of making a push for the playoffs.
We’ll take Kirk Cousins over Jared Goff any day of the week, and that should be the difference between them.
Betting tip: Minnesota Vikings -7
Vikings by 13
New York Giants vs Miami Dolphins @ Hard Rock Stadium
The Giants and Dolphins have been playing better over the last few weeks. We’re giving the edge to the Giants in this situation, who welcomed back Saquon Barkley.
Despite bookmakers offering $2.71 for the Giants in head-to-head betting markets, we’re confident they can win on the road.
Backing Miami at $1.47 is a recipe for disaster, so we’re not going there.
Betting tip: New York Giants
Giants by 3
Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Jets @ MetLife Stadium
Just when you think the Eagles are on the right path, they lose to the Giants. It wasn’t a good performance and loyal followers will be disappointed.
However, they have a chance to get right back into contention with a win over the Jets. New York is 3-8 after a tough season, and given their circumstances, they might opt to play for a draft pick.
Philadelphia should win easily if it’s anywhere near its best.
Betting tip: Philadelphia Eagles –6.5
Eagles by 10
Indianapolis Colts vs Houston Texans @ NRG Stadium
The Colts are at 6-6 following a good patch of form, so they’re worth backing against the struggling Houston Texans.
There isn’t much confidence with the Texans, and they have been a bad bet for punters. Therefore, despite facing a betting line of nine points, it’s wise to take the Colts.
They could make a late run for a playoff spot, so a big win over Houston is likely.
Betting tip: Indianapolis Colts -9
Colts by 14
Washington Football Team vs Las Vegas Raiders @ Allegiant Stadium
The wheels have fallen off the Las Vegas Raiders, which isn’t something new. They are endured plenty of off-field drama and Washington could capitalise.
Washington is 5-6 and it’s starting to play much better football, so despite being on the road in a hostile environment, we think it could win.
Punters get $2.18 and it’s worth taking.
Betting tip: Washington Football Team
Washington by 3
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Los Angeles Rams @ SoFi Stadium
The Los Angeles Rams are desperate for a win after struggling last week, but they get some respite against the Jaguars.
There isn’t much going right for the Jaguars and with only two wins from 11 games, we can’t back them with any confidence.
It gives Matthew Stafford a chance to bounce back, so take the Rams to do it easily.
Betting tip: Los Angeles Rams -13
Rams by 17
Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers @ Heinz Field
Baltimore returned to its best form last week and it could continue against the Steelers, who were awful last week.
The Steelers suffered a huge loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and we can’t see that form turning around any time soon.
The Ravens are on the road, but we’re happy to take the –4.
Betting tip: Baltimore Ravens -4
Ravens by 7
San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks @ Lumen Field
It’s a tough game for punters, but the Seahawks haven’t been doing enough. At 3-8 and 1-4 at home, we can’t see value in their head-to-head price.
San Francisco can be a tough team to follow, but it’s growing in confidence and we’re not surprised to see bookmakers open it as the favorite.
Take the –3.5 in a game where the 49ers could dominate late.
Betting tip: San Francisco 49ers –3.5
49ers by 10
Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs @ GEHA Field
The Chiefs have improved significantly over the last few weeks and they have been putting teams away with ease.
However, the Broncos are good enough defensively to worry them. They are 6-5 and 3-2 on the road, so they can win away from home.
We’re expecting a close game on Monday afternoon, and most of the money has come for the Broncos with the points.
Betting tip: Denver Broncos +10
Chiefs by 7
New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills @ Highmark Stadium
High-powered offenses do battle on Tuesday as the Bills host the Patriots.
Buffalo hasn’t been at its best, but playing at home in front of a big crowd could give them the edge against the Patriots.
New England has been playing well, but it’s tough road test for a rookie quarterback, so take Buffalo.
Betting tip: Buffalo Bills –2.5
Bills by 6
