NFL Week 12 Preview

Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions @ Ford Field

The Lions have had an awful season, but they don’t have such a bad record on Thanksgiving Day.

They have played better over the last two weeks, and there isn’t much confidence with the Chicago Bears at the moment.

Backing either team is dangerous, but take the Lions with the points.

Betting tip: Detroit Lions +3

Las Vegas Raiders vs Dallas Cowboys @ AT&T Stadium

We’re not sure what went wrong with the Cowboys last week, but the 19-9 defeat to Kansas City was awful.

We expect them to be much better against the Raiders with home field advantage. Dallas is 4-1 at home and the Raiders have struggled on the road.

Dallas should win by double digits in a rebound effort.

Betting tip: Dallas Cowboys –7.5

Cowboys by 13

Buffalo Bills vs New Orleans Saints @ Caesars Superdome

Buffalo was embarrassed by the Colts last week, so it’s another team that needs to bounce back.

The Bills are now trailing the New England Patriots in their division after looking like having it control. However, we think they can pounce on the Saints.

New Orleans is without Alvin Kamara, and without that running game, it becomes predicable.

Betting tip: Buffalo Bills –6

Bills by 10

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals @ Paul Brown Stadium

We have liked what we have seen from the Bengals lately and we think they can get the better of Pittsburgh.

The Steelers have posted a winning record, but we never know what to expect. Big Ben hasn’t been as consistent as usual, so we’ll take the home team.

Bookmakers have them as favourites and rightfully so.

Betting tip: Cincinnati Bengals –4.5

Bengals by 7

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Indianapolis Colts @ Lucas Oil Stadium

There is seemingly no stopping the Buccaneers, who improved to 7-3 with an easy win over the Giants last week.

The Colts scored an easy win over Buffalo, so they’re starting to play better. However, we think Tom Brady and the Buccs are on another level.

Punters get a line worth taking at –3.

Betting tip: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3

Buccaneers by 7

Carolina Panthers vs Miami Dolphins @ Hard Rock Stadium

The Dolphins are starting to play better football, but meeting a confidence Panthers outfit won’t be easy.

The Panthers have been rejuvenated with the return of Cam Newton, who could spark them back into life.

A close game is expected, but take Carolina to edge clear late.

Betting tip: Carolina Panthers –3

Panthers by 4

Tennessee Titans vs New England Patriots @ Gillette Stadium

The Titans were disappointing last week, but despite playing the in-form Patriots, we’re backing the Titans to bounce back.

New England is only 2-4 at home and we’re taking the experience Ryan Tannahill over rookie Mac Jones every day of the week.

Take the value with the visitors.

Betting tip: Tennessee Titans +6.5

Titans by 7

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants @ MetLife Stadium

The Eagles have all of a sudden found their ability and that spells bad news for the struggling Giants.

Jalen Hurts is looking more confident in the pocket and he’s not looking at run after his first look. That is a good sign and we expect the Eagles to continue their fine run.

Punters get a value line.

Betting tip: Philadelphia Eagles –3.5

Eagles by 7

Atlanta Falcons vs Jacksonville Jaguars @ TIAA Bank Field

There isn’t much to get excited about in this game, but we’re picking the Falcons to score a narrow win.

They have more talent on the roster and at 4-6, they have the better record. Matt Ryan is playing well enough without getting much protection, but he’s classy.

Take the Falcons to get back on track.

Betting tip: Atlanta Falcons –2.5

Falcons by 7

New York Jets vs Houston Texans @ NRG Stadium

Houston is a team that’s tough to follow, but it has been respected with bookmakers this team.

Davis Mills has been a good replacement at the quarterback position and the Jets are having another tough season.

We wouldn’t lay down a big bet, but the Texans are the way to go.

Betting tip: Houston Texans –2.5

Texans by 3

Los Angeles Chargers vs Denver Broncos @ Empower Field

The Chargers are a playoff team when they’re playing well, but consistency has been problematic this season.

They are 6-4 and 3-1 on the road, so that’s a positive. Playing the Broncos will be a tough defensive game, so Justin Herbert will need to pass well.

We’re giving the slight edge to the Chargers, who are a little more special than Denver.

Betting tip: Los Angeles Chargers –2.5

Chargers by 7

Los Angeles Rams vs Green Bay Packers @ Lambeau Field

The Game of the Week is Rams vs Packers, and despite a loss to the Vikings last week, we’re backing the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers has a toe injury which is painful, but we expect him to play in a big game. The Rams haven’t looked good in recent times, so they could struggle on the road.

Take the Packers are generous odds.

Betting tip: Green Bay Packers

Packers by 4

Minnesota Vikings vs San Francisco 49ers @ Levi’s Stadium

The Vikings looked good when beating the Packers, but we’re unsure if they can back it up in San Fran.

They put all their energy into that win, and backing it up with another win on the road isn’t easy to do.

The 49ers have struggled at home, but with a playoff spot on the horizon, this would be a big victory for the franchise.

Betting tip: San Francisco 49ers

49ers by 6

Cleveland Browns vs Baltimore Ravens @ M&T Bank Stadium

We haven’t been impressed with the Browns lately, which included beating the Lions by only three points last week.

Baltimore has also been tough to follow, but if Lamar Jackson plays anywhere near his best, they should score a comfortable victory.

It could be a shootout between the quarterbacks, where the edge goes to Jackson.

Betting tip: Baltimore Ravens –3.5

Ravens by 7

Seattle Seahawks vs Washington Football Team @ FedEx Field

There isn’t much going right for the Seahawks, so we’re confident with the Washington Football Team.

It is 4-6 and still in the hunt of sneaking into the playoffs, so playing the 3-7 Seahawks should give them every chance.

Bookmakers have the line at –1, so they’re worth backing.

Betting tip: Washington Football Team –1
