11/26/2021 NCAAF College Football Picks & Predictions

College football continues this week and we have a betting preview for three of the biggest games on Friday.

We look the best bets for Cincinnati vs East Carolina, Missouri vs Arkansas and North Carolina vs NC State.

Friday College Football Picks

Cincinnati Bearcats vs East Carolina Pirates @ Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium

The Cincinnati Bearcats have broken into the top four and a win against East Carolina is another step closer to securing a playoff spot.

The Bearcats are 11-0 after putting the hurt on SMU last week in a 48-14 win. They had some nervous moments against Tulsa three weeks ago, but there aren’t many negatives with this team.

They average 40 points on offence and only 16 points on defence. Teams find it tough to score on the Bearcats, and the Pirates will likely join the long list.

East Carolina is having a solid season at 7-4. It has scored four consecutive wins, including an overtime win over Memphis and a gutsy 38-35 win over Navy.

Facing the Bearcats is another challenge altogether, which is why bookmakers are offering +14 points. They should give Pirates plenty of problems, and despite being at home, we think the Pirates will struggle to keep it close.

Bet: Cincinnati Bearcats –14

Missouri Tigers vs Arkansas Razorbacks @ War Memorial Stadium

The Arkansas Razorbacks put up a good fight against Alabama last week, losing 42-35 in a close finish.

They ended a three-game losing streak, but they’re still nationally ranked and rightfully so. The performance against Alabama holds them in good stead against Missouri, who have struggled against ranked teams.

Missouri improved to 6-5 with wins over South Carolina and Florida, which is good to see. The Tigers have beaten some smart teams, but losses to Texas A&M and Georgia stand out.

They suffered a 35-14 loss to the Aggies before losing to Georgia 43-6. We didn’t expect them to be competitive against the best team in the country, but they have struggled against the very best.

Arkansas is a quality team, but winning by 15 points could be a stretch. The –14.5 line is too much risk, so we’re prepared to take the Tigers to cover. They are good enough to lose by two touchdowns, and the Razorbacks could be tired after the Alabama game.

Bet: Missouri Tigers +14.5

North Carolina Tar Heels vs NC State Wolfpack @ Carter-Finley Stadium

The North Carolina vs NC State rivalry continues on Saturday and the Wolfpack are favoured to win.

They are currently ranked 20th after beating Syracuse 41-17, which was a nice bounce back after losing to Wake Forest 45-42.

We’re surprised the Wolfpack are ranked after losing to Wake Forest and Miami earlier in the season, which are two teams North Carolina have beaten.

The Tar Heels defeated Miami 45-42 and Wake Forest 55-52, so it holds them in good stead. They lost in overtime to Pitt two weeks ago before beating Wofford by 20 points, so we like their form better than NC State.

Punters get $3 for North Carolina, and it could end the Saturday college football parlay on a high. Take the +6 for insurance, but having a play on the head-to-head line isn’t a bad strategy.

Bet: North Carolina Tar Heels +6
