College football continues this week and we have a betting preview for three of the biggest bowl games on Wednesday and Thursday.

Bowl season is in full swing and we have our best bets for Missouri vs Army on Wednesday and North Texas vs Miami and UCF vs Florida on Thursday.

Wednesday College Football Picks

Missouri Tigers vs Army Black Knights @ Amon G. Carter Stadium

Bookmakers have Army as the –6.5 favourites, which is a little surprising in the Armed Forces Bowl.

The Black Knights have had a good season at 8-4, but they were beaten by Navy 17-13 last time out, which isn’t an ideal form guide.

Missouri is only 6-6, but its last two losses have come against Arkansas and Georgia. The Tigers defeated South Carolina and Florida in between those losses, so they’re playing well enough to come away with the bowl win.

They will need to slow down the run-heavy offence of the Black Knights, but they are a better offensive team. The Tigers average 233 yards passing per game, which is over 100 yards more than Army. If quarterback Connor Bazelak can take care of the ball, Missouri should get it done.

Punters should take the +6.5 as it’s a very generous line.

Bet: Missouri +6.5 @ $1.90

North Texas Mean Green vs Miami RedHawks @ Toyota Stadium

The north Texas Mean Green have much better form coming into the Frisco Football Classic, so we’re confident of a victory.

They have won five consecutive games to post a 6-6 record, which was needed to make a bowl game. It was a stellar late-season push, including a win over nationally-ranked UTSA.

The 45-23 victory was an incredible performance from the Mean Green, who are the three-point underdogs against Miami (OH). North Texas also scored a win over UTEP, so that’s another good form guide.

Miami comes off an overtime loss to Kent State. The 48-47 loss was tough to take, but we haven’t been overly impressed with their form most of the year.

Brett Gabbert is a better quarterback than Austin Aune, but North Texas relies heavily on their run game. De’Andre Torrey rushed for 1215 yards, so expect plenty of run plays from the underdogs.

Take the Mean Green to win at value odds as we think they’re the better outfit.

Bet: North Texas Mean Green @ $2.30

UCF Knights vs Florida Gators @ Raymond James Stadium

Despite owning a better record, the UCF Knights are +7 underdogs to beat the Florida Gators on Friday.

It hasn’t been a stellar season for the Knights, who lost to SMU 55-28 three weeks ago. They rebounded with an easy win over UConn before just getting past USF, so it’s not electric form.

Florida has lost three of its last four games, but the losses came to good teams. The Gators lost to Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri, with the latest loss coming in overtime by one point.

The 41-17 loss to South Carolina is a worry, but if Emory Jones can limit turnovers, the Gators should have too much offensive firepower for the Knights.

We’re happy to take the –7 line as we expect the Gators to win by 10+ points.

Bet: Florida Gators -7 @ $1.90
