11/19/2021 NCAAB College Basketball Picks & Predictions

We have betting tips for three of the best college basketball games on Friday, which features some quality games.

Our feature games include Ohio vs Kentucky, Lafayette vs Duke and Michigan vs UNLV.

College Basketball Picks

Ohio Bobcats vs Kentucky Wildcats @ Rupp Arena

The Kentucky Wildcats opened their season with a 79-71 loss Duke, but they have rebounded with wins over inferior opponents.

The Wildcats scored a 40-point win over Robert Morris before beating Mount St. Mary’s by 35 points. They were emphatic wins, and we’re expecting another big win against the undefeated Ohio Bobcats.

Ohio has made a perfect 3-0 start to the season after beating lower-level teams, but they have been playing well enough to give Kentucky a fright.

The Bobcats are averaging 81.3 points per game, which is a decent clip for this team. The defensive numbers are strong enough to suggest they could stay within 15-20 points of Kentucky.

However, Kentucky should be far too strong and punters can kick off their college basketball multis with an easy one.

Bet: Kentucky Wildcats

Lafayette Leopards vs Duke Blue Devils @ Cameron Indoor Stadium

The Duke Blue Devils are 4-0 and looking like one of the better teams in the country. They defeated Kentucky to open their season before beating three low-level teams.

They were given a fright against Campbell, scoring a 67-56 win, but it was still a double-digit win and it has to be respected.

Lafayette hasn’t made an ideal start after going 0-3. Two of those games came on the road, including a horrid 85-57 loss to Penn.

The Leopards will need a big game from Tyrone Perry to be competitive, but the guard is doing good things. He’s averaging 14.7 points per game, shooting at 44.1 percent and he is perfect from the free throw line.

If the Leopards are to stand any chance of covering the spread against Duke, he will need to stand out and match the likes of Paolo Banchero and Wendell Moore Jr.

It’s not easy to beat Duke on their home floor and we can’t see the Blue Devils’ perfect start coming under threat. They have the class edge and they should have little problem covering the double-digit spread when markets open.

Bet: Duke Blue Devils

Michigan Wolverines vs UNLV Rebels @ T-Mobile Arena

Michigan is 2-1 after losing to Seton Hall, so the Wolverines will be searching for a bounce back effort on Saturday.

They looked solid prior to the loss with wins over Buffalo and Prairie View, but as soon as they faced a decent team, they looked overmatched.

Last season’s First Four team might need some time to find their groove, and Hunter Dickinson will need to play at a high level to carry them.

UNLV is 3-0 after beating Gardner Webb, California and North Dakota. They’re not strong teams, but they have the defence needed to push Michigan close.

Backing the Wolverines on the road after losing a tough game isn’t an ideal situation, so we’re picking the Rebels to cover the spread.

Punters should get a value line and price for the Rebels, who could hand Michigan another shock loss to start the season.

Bet: UNLV Rebels
