3/3/2021 NCAAB College Basketball Picks & Predictions

The college basketball season continues in the US with three quality games this Wednesday.

We have college basketball betting predictions for Missouri vs. Florida, Creighton vs. Villanova and Boston College vs. Florida State.

With March Madness only a couple of weeks away, every game holds significant importance, which makes for great viewing.

College Basketball Picks

Missouri Tigers vs. Florida Gators @ Exactech Arena

The Missouri Tigers are limping their way home this season after dropping four of their last five games. Losses to Georgia, Ole Miss and Arkansas have set them back after reaching a mark of 13-3.

The Tigers have had trouble scoring the rock after posting totals of only 59, 81, 70 and 53 in their recent losses. Itโ€™s not good enough as the end of the season gets closer, but they are still good enough to beat the Gators.

Florida is 13-6 after three consecutive wins, with the last two coming on the road. The Gators scored wins over Georgia, Auburn and Kentucky, so there is plenty to take from those victories.

With a position in the March Madness tournament likely, Florida has plenty to play for over the next week. They have found form at the right time and Tre Mann is doing it all.

Mann leads the team in scoring, rebounding and assists, so he will be the important piece for the Gators on Thursday.

Bet: Florida Gators to win

Creighton Bluejays vs. Villanova Wildcats @ Finneran Pavillion

Two top-20 teams do battle on Thursday as the Villanova Wildcats look to rebound following a 73-61 loss to Butler.

Creighton is also looking to rebound from a disappointing loss to Xavier, so both teams have something to prove this week.

Villanova sits at 15-4 and one of those losses came to Creighton three weeks ago. They lost 86-70 in a one-sided display, so this is an interesting game for punters.

The Wildcats will be firm favourites to win this game and get back to winning form, but the confidence levels are down following two losses from the last four games.

The Bluejays looked good prior to losing to Xavier, which included wins over Marquette, Georgetown, Villanova and DePaul. Those wins rank well in the Big East and along with Villnova, they currently hold a top two position.

Due to their success in the college basketball tournament in recent years, weโ€™re going with Villanova to beat Creighton on Thursday.

The Wildcats have a quality team led by Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. The senior is averaging 15.5 points and 7.9 rebounds, which could be enough for Villanova to get the nod.

Bet: Villanova Wildcats to win

Boston College Eagles vs. Florida State Seminoles @ Donald Tucker Center

It has been a dismal season for the Boston College Eagles, but they could play spoilers over the next week.

Boston College is 4-13 and 2-9 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, but it comes off a win over Notre Dame and that should give them confidence.

The problem has been on the defensive side of the ball, where the Eagles give up 78.3 points per game. Itโ€™s not good enough, especially when theyโ€™re scoring only 72.7 points per game.

Florida State needs to rebound after a stunning loss to North Carolina. The Seminoles were looking like a top-five team before the loss, but now theyโ€™re left scratching their heads.

The 14-4 team still leads the Atlantic Coast, but they need to beat the Eagles to stay on top. Despite the 78-70 loss, Florida State is formidable and capable of bouncing back.

Punters should expect to see short odds for Florida State and they should have the physical edge over Boston College, which has struggled since changing conferences.

The line should be around 10 points and Florida State is capable of covering the spread before halftime.

Bet: Florida State Seminoles to win
