12/07/2021 NCAAB College Basketball Picks & Predictions

We have betting tips for three of the best college basketball games on Tuesday, which features some quality games.

Our feature games include Texas Tech vs Tennessee, Michigan vs Nebraska and Villanova vs Syracuse.

College Basketball Picks

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs Tennessee Volunteers @ Madison Square Garden

Tennessee is one of the hottest teams in college basketball after going 7-1. Its only loss came to the Villanova Wildcats, who are ranked inside the top 10.

The Volunteers rebounded from that loss with an 89-72 win over North Carolina, which holds them in good stead. They have since beaten four decent teams and are ranked 13th in the nation.

Texas Tech is 6-1 following its first loss to Providence. The 72-68 result was a close game for the Red Raiders, but they will need to improve to win at Madison Square Garden.

Their strength of schedule hasn’t been as tough as the Volunteers, which could be the difference on Wednesday. Tennessee has played harder teams, and although playing at a neutral venue isn’t the same as playing at home, it has the edge in this matchup.

Take Tennessee to take care of the Red Raiders.

Bet: Tennessee Volunteers

Michigan Wolverines vs Nebraska Cornhuskers @ Pinnacle Bank Arena

It has been a mixed bag for the Michigan Wolverines, who have looked at times but are 5-3 on the season.

They lost to Arizona and North Carolina before rebounding with a win over San Diego State. Hunter Dickinson hasn’t been as dominate as expected, but there is still plenty of improvement to come with this team.

The Wolverines have allowed only 64.6 points on defence, which will make it tough for the Nebraska Cornhuskers to score.

Nebraska comes off consecutive losses to NC State and Indiana. The Cornhuskers lost in quadruple overtime against NC State, which took the wind out of their sails against Indiana.

They scored just 55 points against Indiana, but we don’t blame them for being tired on only one days’ rest. Punters should expect a better showing, but the lack of offense is a concern against Michigan.

We expect the Wolverines to show their best form and handle the Cornhuskers. Dickinson should get plenty of opportunities to score in the paint, so they’re worth having on your ticket.

Bet: Michigan Wolverines

Villanova Wildcats vs Syracuse Orange @ Madison Square Garden

Villanova might have dropped two games so far, but losing to the likes of Purdue isn’t a bad thing.

The Wildcats lost 80-74 to the Boilermakers but have since rebounded with three consecutive wins over lower-level teams. They are ranked sixth in the college basketball rankings, but a tricky game presents itself against Syracuse.

The Orange are 5-3 after beating Indiana and Florida State. They play a unique style of defence, which can give teams like Villanova something to worry about.

It’s all about getting penetration into the key for the Wildcats, which will leave the likes of Collin Gillespie open on the wings.

If the Orange can play lock down defence and improve their statistics, they have a chance. They have allowed 79.1 points per game, which is a fair way behind Villanova’s 63.1-point average.

Class is with the Wildcats and we think they’ll win their fourth consecutive game.

Bet: Villanova Wildcats
