Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics @ TD Garden

The Milwaukee Bucks had a prime opportunity to advance to the Eastern Conference finals but couldn’t close out the Boston Celtics at home.

They now have to beat the Celtics on the road, which is why bookmakers have installed them as the road underdogs at $2.76.

It’s a fair price for the Bucks, who couldn’t slow down Jayson Tatum and that could be problematic, especially if he goes off at TD Garden on Monday.

Tatum had his best playoff game in some time and that should give the superstar enough confidence to go on with the job and lead the Celtics to the Conference Finals.

It has been a tough series to predict, but we have thought the Celtics looked like the better team from the outset and we’re sticking to that belief.

The sportsbook has the Celtics at $1.45, which is quite short but they’re worth including in multi bets. The current line is 5.5 and most of the early money has come for the Bucks with the start. Bucks +5.5 has firmed into $1.83, which is a sizable move.

We think the Celtics will win the game outright but the line is too close to call. Therefore, take the Celtics at the $1.45 and multi it into the second NBA game on Monday between the Mavericks and Suns for the best value.

Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns @ Footprint Centre

It has been an intriguing series and the big question is whether the Phoenix Suns can bounce back after a dreadful loss.

The Suns, who were favourites to win the NBA Championship, have lost three of their last four games to the Dallas Mavericks, which is a concern.

They come off a 113-86 loss on the road, but their form at home has been much better. All three losses came on the road, but they won their last two home games against Dallas by 129-109 and 110-80.

With a 32-9 regular season home record, the Suns are a different beast at Footprint Centre and that can’t be overlooked as they look to book their spot in the Western Conference Finals.

The Dallas Mavericks don’t play overly well on the road, but when you have Luka Doncic in the team, anything is possible. Doncic has been incredible in the post-season and if he has a big game, the Mavericks could steal the win on the road.

However, we can’t look past the Suns, who are currently $1.35 to win. We’re not surprised by that line and they would have been favoured to win on the road.

They have been the best team in the NBA for most of the season and they should knuckle down and play their best basketball when it counts.

This is Chris Paul’s best and possibly last chance to win an NBA title, so the floor general should play well to close out the series.
