NBA Betting Picks – Monday January 31st, 2022

We have betting tips for three of the best NBA games on Monday.

There are three quality games on the NBA Monday card, including the highly anticipated Heat vs Celtics, Grizzlies vs 76ers and Raptors vs Hawks.

NBA Betting Picks

Memphis Grizzlies vs Philadelphia 76ers @ Wells Fargo Center

Two of the hottest teams in the NBA battle on Tuesday when the Grizzlies look to win their fourth straight.

The Grizzlies are 16-8 on the road, which has been a large factor in their success. Winning on the road is tough in the NBA, so they’re getting the job done.

Ja Morant is firmly in the MVP race with 26.1 points per game and we’re expecting another quality game from the point guard.

Philadelphia is also playing well at 30-19 after winning its last four games. The 76ers have beaten the likes of the Lakers, Kings and Spurs of late, which is a solid run of form.

However, they will need to turn around a serious defeat to the Grizzlies earlier this year. The Grizzlies won 126-91 at home, and despite being on the road here, it was a big outing.

Philadelphia hasn’t been as dominant at home as it usually is, but Joel Embiid is averaging just under 30 points per game, so if he has a big outing, the 76ers should go close.

We’re picking the Grizzlies to win. They are a confident team and punters should get value odds.

Bet: Memphis Grizzlies

Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics @ TD Garden

Betting on the Boston Celtics hasn’t been easy, but they’re starting to produce better basketball.

They have won three of their last four games and they are 16-10 at home, so that’s a positive to bring into a tough game against the Miami Heat.

Jimmy Butler and his men come off a loss to Toronto, which went to triple overtime. Playing such a grueling contest could work against the Heat, despite having an impressive 32-18 record.

They had won three in a row prior to the loss, including wins over the Lakers and Clippers. They now head on the road, which could tip the scales in favour of the home side.

Boston is on the verge of putting it all together. It hasn’t been playing well this season, but it’s still early enough to not getting worried.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combine well and we think they’ll handle the Heat to score an important Eastern Conference victory.

Bet: Boston Celtics

Toronto Raptors vs Atlanta Hawks @ State Farm Arena

Momentum is firmly with the Atlanta Hawks, who have turned around a dreadful start and are now above .500.

The Hawks are riding a winning streak, which includes top-level victories over Minnesota, Miami and Boston. Their 108-92 win over Boston is a good betting guide and it’s good to see this young team playing well again.

We expected them to make a mid-season run and playing at home helps. They are now 13-11 at home, and they face a team that’s only 11-11 on the road.

Toronto has looked good at times, especially when beating Miami in triple-overtime last week. The 124-120 victory holds them in good stead, but it might have taken something out of them.

It’s the third game of their road trip, so fatigue should start kicking in. Therefore, we’re picking the Hawks to continue their fine form and take the chocolates at home.

Bet: Atlanta Hawks
