NBA Betting Picks – Monday January 3rd, 2022

We have betting tips for three of the best NBA games on Monday.

There are three quality games on the NBA Tuesday card, including the highly anticipated Grizzlies vs Nets, Nuggets vs Mavericks and Heat vs Warriors.

NBA Betting Picks

Memphis Grizzlies vs Brooklyn Nets @ Barclays Center

The Brooklyn Nets enter with consecutive losses to Philadelphia and the Clippers, so this is an important game.

It hasn’t been easy with numerous players on the sidelines with Covid, and although James Harden has been playing well, it’s hard to carry the offence by yourself.

The Nets are now 23-11 after losing to the Clippers 120-116. They face the Memphis Grizzlies, who improved to 23-14 with a win over San Antonio last week.

It was their fourth consecutive win after beating the likes of Phoenix and the Lakers, so they have been beating some of the best teams in the NBA.

Most of the early money has come for the Nets, but bookmakers should be offering value with the Grizzlies. They play on the road, but the Nets might need time for the returning players to gel.

Punters should get value odds for the Grizzlies and they’re worth having on your ticket.

Bet: Memphis Grizzlies

Denver Nuggets vs Dallas Mavericks @ American Airlines Center

The Mavericks have activated Luka Doncic and it couldn’t have come any sooner. They are 17-18 following a win over Sacramento and he should give them a much-needed boost.

Dallas hasn’t been able to show any consistency over the last few weeks, mostly due to having a different lineup on the court every game.

It still has issues with numerous players, but having Doncic back could make the difference as the Nuggets come to town.

Denver has won three on the bounce to improve to 18-16. The Nuggets got the better of the Clippers, Warriors and Houston. The win over Golden State was a defensive masterclass, so they could force the Mavericks into taking some bad shots.

However, it’s now or never for the Mavericks to start producing the goods. We think they can get back to their best and the win over the Kings is a promising sign.

Bet: Dallas Mavericks

Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors @ Chase Center

The marquee game of the day is the Golden State Warriors vs Miami Heat. The Warriors are 28-7 after bouncing back from a defeat to Denver with a win over the Jazz.

Steph Curry has been working wonders on the court with 27.7 points per game. The game’s best shooter continues to defy belief, and even without fellow splash brother Klay Thompson, he has taken the Warriors to a commanding record.

The Heat have been playing well lately, including a 119-112 win over Washington and a 125-96 win over Indiana. They haven’t been playing the hardest teams in the NBA, but the results speak for themselves.

With a home record of 16-3, the Warriors should have the edge. They don’t have many injuries to worry about, compared to the Heat, who could be missing many starters.

Punters will likely have to take a line around –7, which should be a cover for the Warriors.

Bet: Golden State Warriors
