NBA Betting Picks – Tuesday January 26th, 2021

We have betting picks and predictions for three of the best NBA games played this Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

There are three games for punters to bet on this Wednesday. It’s a quiet day on the NBA front, but punters still get quality action.

We have NBA betting tips for Clippers vs. Hawks, Wizards vs. Rockets, and Knicks vs. Jazz.

NBA Betting Picks

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Atlanta Hawks @ State Farm Arena

The Clippers have hit top gear this season with seven consecutive victories. They are one of the best teams in the Western Conference, but winning eight straight games isn’t easy to.

Los Angeles comes into this game following back-to-back wins over Oklahoma City, with the most recent coming by eight points. It was a solid effort from a team that hasn’t needed to work on combinations this season.

Atlanta is going along nicely, and they’re a team that is steadily building. The 8-8 record is a good start to the season, and they have scored some notable wins over the likes of Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Minnesota.

We are not sure if Atlanta has the power to stop the Clippers, but if Trae Young takes to the floor, he can get hot at any moment. Young is averaging 25.3 points per game, and he’s capable of increasing that average.

However, stopping a rampaging Kawhi Leonard is easier said than done. He didn’t start the season well, but he’s now averaging 25.9 points per game and 5.7 assists.

It won’t be an easy game for the Clippers, but they will be favourites and they should come ahead to start the Wednesday NBA triple-header.

Bet: Los Angeles Clippers to win

Washington Wizards vs. Houston Rockets @ Toyota Center

Expectations were high for the Washington Wizards this season, but with only three wins from 12 games, it hasn’t come to fruition.

Despite having Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal, the Wizards can’t find any consistency. It has put questions on coach Scott Brooks, who has struggled over the last few years.

Beal is averaging 34.5 points per game, so he is scoring at all. Westbrook is nowhere to be seen, and that’s a problem for the Wizards.

Houston has also had its fair share of troubles this season, most notably losing James Harden in a blockbuster trade. They received Victor Oladipo, who has looked good in limited time with the Rockets.

Stepping up for Houston has been Christian Wood, who is averaging a double-double. He scores 23.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, which is terrific for a younger player.

Demarcus Cousins isn’t living up to the hype of a few years ago, but his experience should help this Rockets team in games like this.

Picking a winner could be tough for punters as both teams are enigmatic. Washington has all the talent on the floor, but it has a losing culture.

Houston is rebuilding after losing its star player, but the Rockets enter with consecutive wins. They defeated Detroit and Dallas, so the momentum is in their favour.

Bet: Houston Rockets to win

New York Knicks vs. Utah Jazz @ Vivint Smart Home Arena

The Jazz are humming this season with a 12-4, and they don’t look like slowing down any time soon.

Utah is riding an eight-game winning streak, and it has beaten some quality teams along the way. Recent wins over Denver, New Orleans and Golden State sees Utah clear out on Portland in the Northwest standings.

The three-pronged attack of Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley has opposition teams in fits. They are tough to stop, and that’s the task facing the Knicks on Wednesday.

New York is 8-10 this season, which is about par for the year. They scored three consecutive wins over Boston, Orlando and Golden State, before losing to Sacramento and Portland.

Playing on the road hasn’t been easy for the Knicks, but they are still in a rebuilding phase. One player who has stepped up is Julius Randle, who isn’t far off averaging a triple-double.

The power forward is good for 22.7 points and 11.3 rebounds. He also has 6.1 assists per game, but he needs his teammates to step up.

It will no doubt be another losing season for the Knicks, but there is a glimmer of hope just around the corner.

Utah should win this game comfortably. It has no weak spots on the court, and some home cooking is in store on Wednesday.

Bet: Utah Jazz to win
