NBA Betting Picks – Friday February 4th, 2022

We have betting tips for three of the best NBA games on Friday.

There are three quality games on the NBA Friday card, including the highly anticipated Cavaliers vs Hornets, Nets vs Jazz and 76ers vs Mavericks.

NBA Betting Picks

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Charlotte Hornets @ Spectrum Center

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Charlotte Hornets have struggled to win consistently over the last few weeks.

Cleveland has won only one of its last three, including losses to two of the worst teams in the NBA. The Cavaliers lost to Detroit and Houston on the road, so they’ll need to turn that form around.

It hasn’t been much better for the Hornets, but at least they have been facing tough opposition. They lost to the Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics, so they have been playing at a slightly higher level.

However, scoring only 90 points against the Clippers isn’t going to get it done, despite big offensive efforts from LaMelo Ball.

We don’t expect there to be much in this game, but we’re picking the Hornets to win with home court advantage. They are 14-8 at home, and after some poor performances from the Cavaliers, they could be in for another loss.

Most of the early money has come for the Hornets, so they’re worth following in this situation.

Bet: Charlotte Hornets

Brooklyn Nets vs Utah Jazz @ Vivint Arena

We’re not sure what has got into the Brooklyn Nets, but they are riding a lengthy losing streak.

Losing Kevin Durant and not having Kyrie Irving plays a big part to their recent failures, but they’re not 29-22 and in danger of losing another game.

The Nets will be happy to see the team the Utah Jazz are putting out there. The Jazz have lost Joe Ingles, Ruby Gobert and Donovan Mitchell to injury.

The latter two will make a return, but it’s all hands on deck at the moment. They showed toughness when beating Denver for the fourth time this season on Thursday, which ended a long losing streak.

The Nets and the Jazz are desperate for success, but given the situation, we’re backing the Nets to score a road victory.

Winning on the road hasn’t been easy of late for the Nets, but if James Harden gets going, they should put the weakened Jazz away.

Bet: Brooklyn Nets

Philadelphia 76ers vs Dallas Mavericks @ American Airlines Center

We have been disappointed with the Dallas Mavericks in their last two losses, which came to Orlando and Oklahoma City.

They shouldn’t be losing to those teams, especially losing at home to the Thunder 120-114 in overtime. Despite the heroics of Luka Doncic, who averages 26 points per game, he’s getting no help from his teammates.

Dallas is now 29-23 as it welcomes the Philadelphia 76ers, who lost to Washington last time on court. It ended a winning streak for the 76ers, which included victories over the Lakers, Kings and Grizzlies.

Beating the Grizzlies showed punters just how good this 76ers team can be, so we expect them to push the Mavericks to their limits.

The 76ers have been excellent on the road at 17-9 and punters should get value NBA odds for the visitors.

Bet: Philadelphia 76ers
