We have betting tips for three of the best NBA games on Tuesday.
There are three quality games on the NBA Tuesday card, including Cavaliers vs Hawks, Celtics vs 76ers and Clippers vs Suns.
NBA Betting Picks
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Atlanta Hawks @ State Farm Arena
Despite losing to the Philadelphia 76ers last time on court, the Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the hottest teams in the NBA.
They went on a long winning streak which ended with the 103-93 loss, but that came on the road against one of the best in the Eastern Conference.
They now face the Atlanta Hawks, who have lost four of their last five and are playing like they’re not interested in the regular season.
There have been no excuses for the poor form of the Hawks except their attitude. Scoring just 95 points in a 105-95 loss to Boston isn’t good enough and we’re unsure if they’ll turn their form around enough to beat Cleveland.
Early betting markets suggest the Hawks will be favoured to win, but take the value with the Cavaliers, who have a winning road record. They are 17-13, so winning away from home hasn’t been much of a problem for the young side.
Bet: Cleveland Cavaliers
Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers @ Wells Fargo Center
The Boston Celtics are on a serious tear and their winning run could continue against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
They have rattled off numerous victories in a row, including wins over the Hawks, Nets and Nuggets. Despite early struggles, they have turned it around and now they look like genuine Eastern Conference title contenders.
Three of their last five wins have come on the road, which is another confidence boost. They had been struggling on the road with a 13-15 record, but it’s on the improve.
Philadelphia has been mixing its form, but the trade deadline could change things. The 76ers acquired James Harden, but we don’t expect to see him on the court against Boston.
They lost to the Phoenix Suns 114-109, but bounced back with victories over the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Joel Embiid is making another strong case for MVP and he’s the player the Celtics have to worry about. However, losing Seth Curry on the wing is a big problem. He was good at spacing the floor, so the 76ers will need Harden on the floor soon.
Embiid had 40 points against Cleveland and he’ll need another big showing against a rampaging Celtics team. We think the Celtics could be too consistent across the board and punters could get value odds on game day.
Bet: Boston Celtics
Los Angeles Clippers vs Phoenix Suns @ Footprint Center
There is no debate when saying the Phoenix Suns are the best team in the NBA right now. They are 46-10 and the depth to their squad is incredible.
The Suns have scored over 130 points in their last two wins against the Bucks and Magic, so they’re on fire and that’s bad news for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Not much has gone the way of the Clippers, but they looked better when scoring a 99-97 gutsy win over the Dallas Mavericks last week.
However, they’re playing their fourth consecutive road game and they come up against the red-hot Suns, so it won’t be an easy task.
Our concern for the Clippers is their lack of shooting. Reggie Jackson top scores with a 16.6 points per game average, so it’s not good viewing.
Phoenix should have little problem putting the Clippers to bed and it should cover the sportsbook spread.
Bet: Phoenix Suns
