NBA Betting Picks

Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics @ TD Garden

The 76ers and Celtics have struggled to start the season, but the winner will get some much-needed momentum.

Boston is 11-10 following a win over Toronto on the road, and returning home to TD Garden could provide it with some relief.

The Celtics didn’t look good prior when losing to Brooklyn and San Antonio, but punters know how much talent this team has. Getting Jaylen Brown is a positive and he was always going to need a few weeks to get back to full health.

Philadelphia has the same 11-10 record after beating Orlando, but there are growing concerns. Joel Embiid was knocked around after getting COVID, and he thought he wasn’t going to make.

That’s not a good sign for the 76ers superstar, who they need to be playing very well to have any chance of a successful season.

We see more reason to bet on the Celtics in this situation, who should be keen to get a vital win over their Eastern Conference rivals.

Bet: Boston Celtics

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Miami Heat @ FTX Arena

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the surprise package of the season. They own an 11-10 record after consecutive wins over Orlando and Dallas.

They had a rough patch against Golden State, Brooklyn and Phoenix, but they are three of the best teams in the NBA, so it’s not surprising. Despite those losses, they were beaten by only five points in two of them.

Darius Garland has continued on with his good play. He leads the team with 18.6 points per game, and he’s also leading in assists with 7.2.

The Cavaliers have a well-balanced team, but they’re about to face a strong Miami Heat outfit.

Miami has been plagued by inconsistency over the last two weeks. It hasn’t been able to string consecutive wins together, and that could be the case again.

The Heat lost to Denver 120-111 on Tuesday, but they are a better team at home with a 6-2 record.

Punters typically show confidence with the Heat at home, and although we respect the Cavaliers, we’re picking Miami to get the job done.

Bet: Miami Heat

Charlotte Hornets vs Milwaukee Bucks @ Fiserv Forum

The Milwaukee Bucks are showing their best form after winning their last five games. The Bucks started the season slowly, but they have hit top gear following an impressive win over Indiana.

They haven’t been playing the best teams in the NBA, but they haven’t scored less than 114 points in their last five wins, which is impressive.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 27 points, and although he would dearly love Brook Lopez back from injury, they’re doing well without him.

Charlotte poses a threat after losing consecutive games to Houston and Chicago. The Hornets scored 143 points in an overtime loss to Houston, but the defence is a big concern.

They will need to play better defence against the Bucks, otherwise they could extend their losing streak.

We give the edge to the home team, who is looking to win six consecutive games at Fiserv Forum. It’s an impressive record and the Bucks should get the job done.

Bet: Milwaukee Bucks
