NBA Playoffs Betting Picks – Monday April 25th, 2022

We have betting tips for the three NBA Playoff games on Monday.

There are three games for punters to bet on, including Celtics vs Nets, Raptors vs 76ers and Jazz vs Mavericks.

NBA Playoffs Betting Picks

Boston Celtics vs Brooklyn Nets @ Barclays Center

It’s all hands-on deck for the Brooklyn Nets, who are down 0-3 and are on the brink of a famous exit from the NBA playoffs.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving haven’t been at their best in what has been fractured season, but they still have a chance to get back to their best.

Playing at home should help their chances and bookmakers have the Nets as the $1.83, so there is some market confidence. However, the Boston Celtics don’t seem to care.

They hold a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series and they are playing like a team with belief. The Celtics were too strong when scoring a 109-103 win at this venue on Sunday, which should be the best form guide.

Despite not having Robert Williams III in the lineup, the Celtics are getting into the paint and also scoring from the outside. Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart have been instrumental and the Nets will do well to keep up.

We’re playing the Celtics at $2.01, which is a value price considering the current series standings.

Bet: Boston Celtics @ $2.01

Toronto Raptors vs Philadelphia 76ers @ Wells Fargo Center

The Philadelphia 76ers won’t get a better chance to seal the playoff series win on Tuesday.

They hold a 3-1 lead over the Toronto Raptors and returning to Wells Fargo Center could be all they need to reach the second round.

Joel Embiid has shown why he’s MVP material with 30.6 points per game during the playoffs, and although they lost 110-102 in Game 4, it was still a solid performance.

They haven’t looked as good over the last two games, but considering those came on the road, punters shouldn’t be too worried about the $1.30 favourites.

Toronto has the ability to steal a win on the road, but there hasn’t been enough production from its best players. There is also an injury concern for Fred VanVleet, which isn’t going to help its chances of beating the 76ers.

The current points spread line is 7.5, which makes it interesting for punters. We expect the result to be around this mark, but with a fourth-quarter push from the 76ers, we expect them to cover the number in front of their home fans.

Bet: Philadelphia 76ers –7.5 @ $1.90

Utah Jazz vs Dallas Mavericks @ American Airlines Center

The Dallas Mavericks had an excellent chance to go 3-1 up in the series on Sunday but we unable to put the game to bed in the final quarter.

The 100-99 loss now sees the series tied at 2-2 as it heads back to Dallas, but getting Luka Doncic back in the team adds to their chances.

Dallas has been doing it tough without their leader, but he should be suiting up on Tuesday and that’s why the Mavericks are the current favourites with the sportsbook.

Bookmakers have the Mavericks at $1.64 to beat the Utah Jazz, who have the ability to head home with the 3-2 lead, but we’re not convinced.

We’d prefer to take the Mavericks in this situation, so lock in the price.

Bet: Dallas Mavericks –3.5 @ $1.90
