NBA Betting Picks – Saturday April 10th, 2021

We have betting picks and predictions for three of the best NBA games played this Saturday, April 10, 2021.

NBA Sunday is always a great showcase of the best teams. We preview Lakers vs Nets, Rockets vs Warriors and Pistons vs Trail Blazers.

NBA Betting Picks

Los Angeles Lakers vs Brooklyn Nets @ Barclays Center

The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling without LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who remain injured for the upcoming blockbuster against the Nets.

Brooklyn has also been dealing with injury concerns, but Kevin Durant is back and that makes up for the loss of James Harden, who played only four minutes in his return against New York.

The Nets own a 36-16 record, which is good enough to be at the top of the Eastern Conference. It’s hardly surprising given the talented roster, which added LaMarcus Alridge and Blake Griffin.

Kyrie Irving is playing lights out for Brooklyn, scoring 27.9 points per game. He has been able to lead the Nets without Harden and Durant with great efficiency. It bodes well for when the Nets have all their stars on the court.

Brooklyn will be firm favourites to win this game at home. Punters have no idea what lineup the Lakers are going to field day-to-day, which makes them a hard team to bet on.

Despite having a 16-9 record on the road, we’re going with the Nets to score a comfortable victory on Sunday.

Bet: Brooklyn Nets to win

Houston Rockets vs Golden State Warriors @ Chase Center

The Golden State Warriors bounced back from three consecutive defeats to beat the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

The Bucks were without The Greek Freak, but Golden State appeared to have no chance in the fourth quarter after being down by double digits. It was a stout comeback win, led by the 41-point effort from Steph Curry.

He has been nothing short of courageous this season and he shouldn’t need to score 41 points to get past the hapless Houston Rockets.

Houston is coming off a rare win over Dallas, but the Rockets have lost seven of their last 10. With only 14 wins for the season, Houston is one of the worst teams in the NBA and that’s what happens when you trade your best players.

Having John Wall back in the lineup is a positive, but that’s where the positives end. The Rockets have been grounded in 2021 and Golden State should take advantage.

The Warriors are 15-9 at home and although this will be their third game in four days, they should have far too much class for the Rockets.

Punters can expect a line of around 6.5 points in favour of the home side.

Bet: Golden State Warriors to win

Detroit Pistons vs Portland Trail Blazers @ Moda Center

Portland looked a great chance of beating Utah at halftime on Friday, but a horrible second-half effort resulted in a 19-point loss.

The Trail Blazers were leading at the half but a 40-19 third quarter was enough to turn that result around and hand the Trail Blazers their third loss in four games.

All three losses came against top-level teams, such as Utah, Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee, but losing ground at this stage of the season isn’t ideal.

Portland is a team on the edge of making the top eight, so every game counts. It will be expecting to beat the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, which have won only 15 games in 2021.

The Pistons have won only three of their last 10 and that includes a 124-101 loss to the Trail Blazers last month. It was a one-sided affair and we don’t see how they could turn it around.

Punters should be confident of a Portland victory to end the NBA multi. Bookmakers will likely have Portland as the 8.5-point favourite, which should result in a comfortable cover.

Bet: Portland Trail Blazers to win
