We have expert betting tips for the 2021 Farmers Insurance Open, where some of the world’s best golfers do battle at Torrey Pines South Course.

Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy head the field at the Farmers Insurance Open this week, and we have our best value picks available.

Which player will play best over four days? Here are our top picks.

Farmers Insurance Open Golf Predictions

2021 Farmers Insurance Open Winner – Patrick Reed

Patrick Reed deserves another chance following a disappointing result at The American Express last week.

The American got off to a poor start and never recovered, but overlooking the 2018 Masters champion this week would be a mistake.

Reed is one of the better players in the week and playing at Torrey Pines should suit his game. He isn’t the biggest hitter in the field, but he’s accurate. That bodes well for this golf course, and the value odds are too good to pass up.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see Patrick Reed hover in the top 10 heading the weekend, before making his run on Saturday.

2021 Farmers Insurance Open Value Bet – Adam Scott

Punters need to take Adam Scott with a fair amount of trust, but the Australian is tough to beat on his day.

A former Masters champion, Scott finished 10 shots off the pace at the Sony Open earlier this year. It was a solid effort, and it matches his performance at the Tournament of Champions a week earlier.

A lack of top-20 performances could concern punters, but the 40-year-old won the Genesis Open around this time last year, so he should take confidence from that outing.

Bookmakers are offering $31 for Scott to win the Farmers Insurance Open, and we wouldn’t rule him out. He is a streaky player who could start coming into form as the bigger tournaments approach in 2021.

2021 Farmers Insurance Open Longer Odds – Charles Howell

Charles Howell is worth backing at the odds this week, despite his less-than-impressive performance at The American Express.

The 41-year-old is a noted early performer, so he plays well at the beginning of the year. He didn’t show that last week, but he finished 19th at the Sony Open.

It was a good performance in Hawaii and he should give punters a run for their money at the Farmers Insurance Open this week.

$81 is worth taking, and he’s paying a nice price in top 10 and top 20 markets.

2021 Farmers Insurance Open Long Shot – Byeong Hun An

Triple-figure odds for Byeong Hun An is good shopping considering he finished in the top 10 last week.

The South Korean was the youngest ever winner of the U.S. Amateur, and he got back into form when shooting –14 at The American Express.

Even though his form in 2020 wasn’t where it should have been, he only needs some confidence. He got that last week, so expect better performances from Byeong Hun An this year.

There is no way he should be paying as much as he is with bookmakers, so take the value before they notice.

The American Express Top Australian Player – Adam Scott

We got the chocolates with Cameron Davis last week, who came close to winning the tournament. We are going with Adam Scott at the Farmers Insurance Open, and he’s at juicy odds.

There is a good pool of Australian players, including Jason Day, Marc Leishman and Davis, but Scott has the ability to beat them all.

Punters get value odds in this market, and his odds for top Australian could firm considerably as the tournament progresses.
