With only 5 games to go, there is only one point between Manchester City and Liverpool in what promises to be an enthralling Premier League title race. Chelsea look to have wrapped up 3rd place, leaving Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United to battle out 4th position. At the bottom of the table, Watford and Norwich City look to have their work cut out in their survival bids and it is a straight hit between Burnley and Everton for the final remaining place in the drop zone.

Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League:

Premier League Week 35 Picks

Newcastle United vs Liverpool – St James’s Park

Newcastle United ($8.4)

Liverpool ($1.44)

Draw ($4.8)

Having already secured their Premier League status, Newcastle will be looking to give Liverpool a run for their money. Toon have been in sparkling form since the arrival of Eddie Howe and have climbed up into the top half of the table, with one eye already on developing even further next season. Liverpool meanwhile are in the hunt for the quadruple and know all too well, that they simply cannot afford any slip ups. St James’s Park will be rocking for this one, but Liverpool should sneak over the line here.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.44)

Liverpool to win 2-1

Aston Villa vs Norwich City – Villa Park

Aston Villa ($1.44)

Norwich City ($8.5)

Draw ($5)

Dean Smith takes his Norwich City side to his former club Aston Villa, in need of a miracle. Villa have stalled somewhat in recent weeks under Steven Gerrard but have already secured their Premier League status and they will be eager to keep improving for the remainder of the season. For Norwich meanwhile, it is now or never, as they need to win all of their remaining games to have any realistic hope of staying up. This could be tighter than the odds suggest but Villa should prevail at home here.

Betting tip: Aston Villa to win the match ($1.44)

Aston Villa to win 2-0

Southampton vs Crystal Palace – St Mary’s Stadium

Southampton ($2.4)

Crystal Palace ($3.25)

Draw ($3.5)

Two sides with price to play for face off as Southampton take on Crystal Palace. Saints have had a wide range of results this season but have lacked the consistency needed to press on and they will want to put on a show for their fans at the end of the campaign. Crystal Palace meanwhile have made progress under Patrick Vieira, but they too haven’t been consistent this term and they will be eager to put building blocks in place for next season. An entertaining draw could be on the cards here.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.5)

2-2 Draw

Watford vs Burnley – Vicarage Road

Watford ($2.75)

Burnley ($2.8)

Draw ($3.4)

Two sides scrapping away at the bottom of the pile face off as Watford take on Burnley. The Hornets do look dead and buried under Roy Hodgson, but the wily old fox has produced some incredible great escapes before, and they aren’t mathematically done yet. Burnley meanwhile, have transformed under caretaker Mike Jackson and have actually climbed out of the bottom three. Every game is huge for the Clarets moving forward but they will be full of confidence on arrival here, which could ultimately see them over the line.

Betting tip: Burnley to win the match ($2.8)

Burnley to win 2-1

Wolves vs Brighton – Molineux

Wolves ($2.8)

Brighton ($2.9)

Draw ($3.4)

Another duo of sides settling for a mid-table finish after decent seasons are Wolves and Brighton. The hosts Wolves have stalled a bit in recent weeks under Bruno Lage but there are plenty of positives to build upon moving forward into next season. Similarly, Graham Potter has done an excellent job at Brighton and the Seagulls look ready to kick on again next term. This should be an open and entertaining game, which could end up being a high-scoring draw.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.4)

1-1 Draw

Leeds United vs Manchester City – Elland Road

Leeds United ($11)

Manchester City ($1.32)

Draw ($6.5)

Manchester City will be looking to step up their title bid as they travel to Leeds United. The atmosphere at Elland Road is sure to be electric, as Leeds look to pull away from the relegation zone fully and recent performances under Jesse Marsch have been hugely encouraging. City meanwhile won well in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid in midweek, but this could take a huge amount out of them. Every game is a final of sorts for City currently and that could be enough to get them over the line here.

Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.32)

Manchester City to win 2-1

Everton vs Chelsea – Goodison Park

Everton ($5)

Chelsea ($1.8)

Draw ($3.8)

Relegation threatened Everton host Chelsea in what is a huge game for the club. Currently residing in the bottom three, the Toffees have endured a torrid season, but manager Frank Lampard will be looking for a big result against his former employers. Chelsea meanwhile have seen their season peter out somewhat, with the exception of the upcoming FA Cup final and they could be forgiven for not being at their best here. That could play into Everton’s hands here and a draw could be on the cards.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.8)

1-1 Draw

Tottenham vs Leicester City – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham ($1.5)

Leicester City ($7.5)

Draw ($4.8)

Tottenham will be looking to make a final push for the top 4 as they host Leicester City. Antonio Conte has steadied the ship in North London and ending the season in the Champions League places would yield a decent return for Spurs this term. Leicester meanwhile have the small matter of a Europa Conference League semi-final consuming them currently and they could play a changed side here. As a result, Tottenham are the heavy favourites to pick up all three points here.

Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($1.5)

Tottenham to win 3-1

West Ham United vs Arsenal – London Olympic Stadium

West Ham United ($4.75)

Arsenal ($1.83)

Draw ($4)

Two sides in the hunt for a top 4 finish face off as West Ham host Arsenal. The Hammers have slipped off the pace a little in the race for a Champions League spot next term but with a Europa League semi-final on the horizon, they could have their minds elsewhere here. Arsenal meanwhile, are in pole position to finish in the top 4, following their win over Manchester United last time out. This should be a very good game in London, with the draw perhaps the most plausible result.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($4)

2-2 Draw

Manchester United vs Brentford – Old Trafford

Manchester United ($1.76)

Brentford ($4.75)

Draw ($4.1)

With a slight hope of finishing in the top 4, Manchester United will be eager to put on a performance against Brentford. The Red Devils have been abject at times this term, with Erik ten Hag lined up as their new manager next season and their rebuilding job starts now. Brentford by contrast have been excellent this season, comfortably surviving in their debut campaign and they will relish the challenge ahead of them here. Manchester United need a win and they should get one at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.76)

Manchester United to win 2-0
