With games being hooked from the calendar on a regular basis due to COVID 19 in the UK, most teams are struggling for consistency but once again champions Manchester City are starting to pull away from the chasing pack. Liverpool and Chelsea have games in hand but have a points void to overturn, whilst the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United look confined to battling for a top 4 spot this season. Tottenham remain unbeaten under Antonio Conte and are a side improving whilst the likes of Newcastle, Norwich and Burnley will be looking to pull away from trouble asap.

Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League:

EPL Week 20 Picks

Crystal Palace vs Norwich City – Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace ($1.7)

Norwich City ($6)

Draw ($4)

Bottom side Norwich City will be looking to kick start their season as they travel to Crystal Palace. The Eagles were well beaten by Tottenham last time out but have had a great start to the season overall under Patrick Vieira and they will see this as a very winnable fixture at home. Norwich meanwhile were thumped by Arsenal on Boxing Day and look to have a mountain to climb if they are to stay up come the end of the campaign. This should be one-way traffic in East London, with Crystal Palace most likely to come out on top.

Betting tip: Crystal Palace to win the match ($1.7)

Crystal Palace to win 2-0

Southampton vs Tottenham – St Mary’s Stadium

Southampton ($3.9)

Tottenham ($2.05)

Draw ($3.65)

Tottenham will be looking to continue their unbeaten league run under Antonio Conte as they face a tricky looking trip to Southampton. The Saints won very well at West Ham last time out and are slowly climbing the table as the second half of the campaign approaches. Tottenham meanwhile are creeping up on the top 4 spots and have looked a completely different side in recent weeks, with Harry Kane back in the goals. This should be a really good game and Spurs could just nick this one.

Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($2.05)

Tottenham to win 2-1

Watford vs West Ham United – Vicarage Road

Watford ($3.5)

West Ham United ($2.2)

Draw ($3.6)

Struggling Watford will be looking to get some points on the board as they take on West Ham United. The Hornets have missed their last few games due to a COVID 19 outbreak in the camp and they will be hoping to return refreshed and rejuvenated here. West Ham meanwhile are in the midst of a mid-season wobble and are in danger of slipping down into mid-table, with their latest defeat to Southampton a reminder of just how difficult the Premier League is. This should be a really good game, with the draw the most likely outcome.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.6)

1-1 Draw

Leicester City vs Liverpool – King Power Stadium

Leicester City ($8.5)

Liverpool ($1.37)

Draw ($6)

Liverpool will be looking get back to winning ways as they travel to Leicester City, The Foxes have not hit the heights of previous campaigns this season and their leaky defence came to the fore on Boxing Day as they were thrashed 6-3 by Manchester City. Liverpool meanwhile have lost a little bit of ground on Manchester City in the title race, but they have games in hand and will be looking to keep the pressure on wherever possible. This should be a very entertaining game, with Liverpool most likely to prevail.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.37)

Liverpool to win 3-1

Chelsea vs Brighton – Stamford Bridge

Chelsea ($1.46)

Brighton ($9)

Draw ($4.6)

Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea will be looking to build on their win at Aston Villa last time out as they host Brighton. The blues were the early season pace setters but results in recent weeks had been a little underwhelming and they lost ground on Manchester City in the title race. They will be looking to continue their better form here against Brighton though, who themselves won their first game in a while against Brentford and should provide a stern test here. Chelsea should be too good at home though and should bag three more points.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.46)

Chelsea to win 3-1

Brentford vs Manchester City – Brentford Community Stadium

Brentford ($21)

Manchester City ($1.18)

Draw ($8.6)

Brentford will be hoping to take down another historic scalp as they host champions Manchester City. The Bees have made a habit of picking up some good results at home in recent months but have suffered a dip in form lately and should relish this test against the blues. City meanwhile have had no such problems, blowing away all before them in recent weeks and they once again look to be the team to beat in the Premier League. This will be much closer than the odds suggest but Manchester City look to be in excellent form currently.

Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.18)

Manchester City to win 3-1

Everton vs Newcastle United – Goodison Park

Everton ($1.9)

Newcastle United ($4.9)

Draw ($3.8)

Two sides in need of a win do battle as Everton host Newcastle at Goodison Park. The Toffees have lacked consistency under Rafa Benitez so far this season and look to be content on battling for a top half finish, unless results drastically improve. Newcastle meanwhile put in a superb display against Manchester United last time out and perhaps should have won the game, a sign that Eddie Howe is starting to have an impact with the Magpies. This should be a really good game, with Everton most likely to have enough quality in the areas that count to win the game.

Betting tip: Everton to win the match ($1.9)

Everton to win 2-1

Manchester United vs Burnley – Old Trafford

Manchester United ($1.4)

Burnley ($10)

Draw ($5.25)

Manchester United will be looking to get back to winning ways as they host Burnley. The Red Devils were poor at Newcastle last time out, dropping two more points and they now sit 19 points off the pace in the Premier League – despite having games in hand. Burnley meanwhile have 4 games in hand on some teams and will be looking to get going again once more, following a COVID 19 enforced break in their schedule. This should be a cagey one, between two defensive sides but Manchester United should ultimately prevail here when it matters.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.4)

Manchester United to win 2-0
