The hectic Boxing Day fixture list in the Premier League has been given the go ahead, despite climbing COVID 19 cases in the UK. With 11 unanswered goals in the past week, Manchester City are flying high at the top of the table, but Liverpool and Chelsea cannot be discarded in hot pursuit. Manchester United are just one of a number of sides currently battling high infection rates within the camp, whilst the likes of Arsenal and Leicester City look to be gathering momentum with the new year approaching and with plenty to play for at both ends of the table, it promises to be another chaotic round of Premier League action.

Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League:

EPL Week 19 Picks

Liverpool vs Leeds United – Anfield

Liverpool ($1.17)

Leeds United ($20)

Draw ($9.6)

Liverpool will be looking get back to winning ways as they welcome a hapless Leeds United side to Anfield. The reds were held by Tottenham in a controversial encounter last time out and they will need to bounce back quickly if they are to keep pace with Manchester City at the league’s summit. Leeds meanwhile are in freefall under Marcelo Bielsa and look to be in a relegation battle unless they turn things around quickly. This should be one-way traffic in Liverpool, with the reds ready to pick up a comfortable win.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.17)

Liverpool to win 3-0

Wolves vs Watford – Molineux

Wolves ($1.9)

Watford ($4.75)

Draw ($3.6)

Wolves will be looking to continue their ascent up the table as they welcome a struggling Watford side. The hosts have been steadily improving under Bruno Lage and their 0-0 draw with Chelsea last time out was a timely reminder of that. Watford meanwhile just cannot seem to generate the consistency needed in the Premier League currently and Claudio Ranieri’s side look to have a real scrap on their hands to stay in the division. This could be tighter than people think but Wolves are in good nick and should pick up three points here.

Betting tip: Wolves to win the match ($1.9)

Wolves to win 2-0

Burnley vs Everton – Turf Moor

Burnley ($2.5)

Everton ($3.25)

Draw ($3.3)

Two sides in need of a win do battle as Burnley host Everton at Turf Moor. The Clarets have been plucky as ever this season, without necessarily picking up the points their performances have deserved, and they will want to start picking up results quickly. Everton meanwhile are a side in relative limbo under Rafa Benitez and their inconsistency continues to hold them back too. Finishing in the top half of the table should be an absolute must for a side with their quality and they know they need to improve soon. This looks to be an evenly matched contest, with the draw the most plausible outcome.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.3)

1-1 Draw

Manchester City vs Leicester City – Etihad Stadium

Manchester City ($1.23)

Leicester City ($17)

Draw ($8)

Table topping Manchester City will be doing all they can to keep their juggernaut crashing on, as they take on Leicester City. The sky blues have scored 11 goals in their last two wins over Leeds and Newcastle and look to be finding form at the right time once more this season. Leicester City meanwhile have endured some COVID disruption in recent weeks, just as they were starting to find some form themselves. This will be much closer than the odds suggest but Manchester City look to be in excellent form currently.

Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.23)

Manchester City to win 3-1

Norwich City vs Arsenal – Carrow Road

Norwich City ($8)

Arsenal ($1.47)

Draw ($4.8)

Bottom side Norwich City will be looking to kick start their season as they take on a vastly improving Arsenal side. The Canaries have improved markedly since the arrival of Dean Smith but can’t seem to pull away from relegation trouble properly as yet. Arsenal meanwhile booked their place in the last 4 of  the Carabao Cup last time out and have steadily climbed into the top 4 of the Premier League table in recent weeks. Norwich will give this a really good go, but Arsenal are in super form and should win here.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($1.47)

Arsenal to win 2-0

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham ($1.81)

Crystal Palace ($5)

Draw ($3.85)

Tottenham will be looking to build on their home draw with Liverpool, as they take on high-flying Crystal Palace to North East London. Antonio Conte has added a steely resolve to Spurs in recent weeks and he will be hoping to see his side continue their improved form here. Crystal Palace meanwhile will be bang up for this, especially with Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira at the helm and they should give Spurs a really good game in front of their home fans. Spurs however, should be too strong here in a closely fought contest.

Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($1.81)

Tottenham to win 2-1

West Ham United vs Southampton – London Olympic Stadium

West Ham United ($1.87)

Southampton ($4.4)

Draw ($4)

West Ham will be looking to build on their solid first half of the season as they take on Southampton. The Hammers have been in great nick all year under David Moyes, and they will see themselves as the justified favourites heading into this one. Southampton meanwhile, haven’t been as consistent as they might have liked this season, but they have plenty of quality in their ranks and they will see this as a free hit in the capital. This should be a really good game, with West Ham most likely to prevail here.

Betting tip: West Ham United to win the match ($1.87)

West Ham United to win 2-1

Aston Villa vs Chelsea – Villa Park

Aston Villa ($5.5)

Chelsea ($1.75)

Draw ($4)

Chelsea will be looking to get their Premier League title bid back on track as they travel to Aston Villa. The Villains have been vastly improved under Steven Gerrard in recent weeks and how the former Liverpool man would love to upset the title race once more. Chelsea travel to the West Midlands in the midst of a poor run by their own standards and dropping points here would see the gap between the blues and the sides above them increase even more. Chelsea should get the job done here though, just about at Villa Park.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.75)

Chelsea to win 2-1

Brighton vs Brentford – AMEX Stadium

Brighton ($2)

Brentford ($4.4)

Draw ($3.5)

Brighton take on Brentford in what has the hallmarks of an excellent game on the South Coast. The Seagulls started the season in incredible fashion but are winless in their last 12 league games and need to pick up three points to arrest the slide. Brentford meanwhile have been a breath of fresh air in the Premier League, but they too have lacked consistency in recent games and will have one eye looking over their shoulder. This could be a very tight encounter, with the draw looking the most likely result.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.5)

1-1 Draw

Newcastle United vs Manchester United – St James’s Park

Newcastle United ($7)

Manchester United ($1.52)

Draw ($4.75)

Eddie Howe’s struggling Newcastle United take on Manchester United in a reprise of one of the Premier League’s classic encounters. Toon have only won one game in the league this season and look to have a real battle on their hands to stay in the division, despite the potential of big January signings imminent. Manchester United meanwhile have been poor by their own standards this term and find themselves languishing in 6th in the table as a result. The Red Devils should have no issue here though against a poor Newcastle side and three points look guaranteed.

Betting tip: Manchester United to win the match ($1.52)

Manchester United to win 3-0
