EPL Week 17 Predictions

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham – City Ground

Nottingham Forest ($4.90)

Tottenham ($1.75)

Draw ($4.30)

Nottingham Forest will be eager to pull away from relegation trouble, as they take on Tottenham at the City Ground. The Tricky Trees have been inconsistent this season, but their home form does look to have the potential to fire them up the division. Meanwhile, Tottenham are a team that are back on track following their big win over Newcastle United and a top 4 push remains their aim. This should be a good one, with Spurs most likely to come out on top.

Betting tip: Tottenham to win the match ($1.75)

Tottenham to win 2-1

Bournemouth vs Luton Town – Vitality Stadium

Bournemouth ($1.54)

Luton Town ($6.70)

Draw ($4.50)

Two sides with survival on their minds face off, as Bournemouth take on Luton Town. A recent resurgence has been incredible at Bournemouth, with their 3-0 win at Old Trafford over Manchester United last time out a particularly seismic result. Luton Town meanwhile have been plucky in recent weeks, despite not picking up results and making it tough will be their main aim here. This should be all about Bournemouth though, who should prevail here.

Betting tip: Bournemouth to win the match ($1.54)

Bournemouth to win 3-1

Chelsea vs Sheffield United – Stamford Bridge

Chelsea ($1.26)

Sheffield United ($13)

Draw ($6.90)

Chelsea need a win following a desperate set of results and they take on a Sheffield United side that look to be inspired under Chris Wilder. The blues are not at the races this season and there are plenty of question marks being raised about them already this season. They welcome Sheffield United, who beat Brentford last week but still have work to do to stay in the division. This should be the ideal game for Chelsea, who should pick up a needed home win.

Betting tip: Chelsea to win the match ($1.26)

Chelsea to win 2-0

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace – Etihad Stadium

Manchester City ($1.18)

Crystal Palace ($19)

Draw ($8)

Manchester City take on Crystal Palace in what should be an entertaining game at the Etihad. City bounced back well in their past two games against Luton Town and Red Star Belgrade, but they are not at their fluent best yet. Palace meanwhile are really struggling under Roy Hodgson and perhaps this game will present the perfect chance for them to play with freedom. City should win this one but the odds bigger than they should be.

Betting tip: Manchester City to win the match ($1.18)

Manchester City to win 3-1

Newcastle United vs Fulham – St James’s Park

Newcastle United ($1.91)

Fulham ($4.33)

Draw ($3.96)

Having crashed out of the Champions League, Newcastle United will now turn their attention to trying to get back into it in the Premier League. They welcome Fulham next, in what should be a good one in the North East. Toon haven’t hit the heights of last season and have work to do if they are to be playing European football next term. Fulham registered back to back 5-0 wins in their last two games, and they will be up for this, but Newcastle should pick up a needed three points. B

Betting tip: Newcastle United to win the match ($1.91)

Newcastle United to win 3-1

Burnley vs Everton – Turf Moor

Burnley ($3.75)

Everton ($2.15)

Draw ($3.55)

Sean Dyche will be the toast of the town as he takes his Everton side back to Burnley, a club synonymous with him as a manager. The Clarets do look to be turning the corner under Vincent Kompany, but this will be a serious test of their mettle at home. Everton meanwhile are getting better each week, and they are starting to believe they can overcome their 10-point deduction. There is plenty at stake here and it could well end up being a draw in Lancashire.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.55)

1-1 Draw

West Ham United vs Wolves – London Olympic Stadium

West Ham United ($2.25)

Wolves ($3.50)

Draw ($3.65)

Two more sides looking to stay away from the relegation picture face off as West Ham United welcome Wolves. The Hammers have been in dreadful nick of late and the sharks are circling for David Moyes in East London once more. Wolves meanwhile are improving under Gary O’Neil, and they will fancy their chances on the road here. This should be a very watchable encounter, with the draw perhaps on the cards in this one.

Betting tip: The match to finish as a draw ($3.65)

1-1 Draw

Brentford vs Aston Villa – Gtech Community Stadium

Brentford ($3.40)

Aston Villa ($2.19)

Draw ($3.80)

Brentford take on high flying Aston Villa in what should be a very good game in West London. The Bees are inconsistent this season, not something that could have been levelled at them before and they will want to rattle into Aston Villa here. The Villains meanwhile are still basking in their famous wins over both Manchester City and Arsenal and there is growing belief that they will contend for the Premier League title this season. Villa look the real deal and they should win well here.

Betting tip: Aston Villa to win the match ($2.19)

Aston Villa to win 3-1

Arsenal vs Brighton – Emirates Stadium

Arsenal ($1.50)

Brighton ($6.75)

Draw ($5)

Arsenal take on Brighton, as they look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League. The Gunners are a side that look to be on course to challenge for the Premier League title, but they keep dropping points at key moments. Brighton meanwhile are balancing European football this term, something which is potentially costing them in the Premier League, but they’ll have a proper crack here. This will be a good one, which Arsenal should come out on top in.

Betting tip: Arsenal to win the match ($1.50)

Arsenal to win 4-2

Liverpool vs Manchester United – Anfield

Liverpool ($1.33)

Manchester United ($10)

Draw ($6.40)

An old, fabled clash of the titans threatens to be another one-way smashing, as Liverpool take on Manchester United. Liverpool look to be champions elect this term, dreaming of another Premier League title, to add to their tally of 1 in the past 33 years. Manchester United meanwhile are in a real funk, out of the Champions League and way off the pace in the Premier League. This will be barbaric, and Liverpool will rightfully enjoy every second of it.

Betting tip: Liverpool to win the match ($1.33)

Liverpool to win 4-0
