With England’s women capturing the hearts of the nation following their Euro 2022 triumph, attention naturally turns to the domestic season with the Premier League once again taking centre stage.
Manchester City will once again be the side to beat, with 4 titles in the last 5 seasons but it has been a summer of change at the Etihad, with plenty of players in and out of the door. Liverpool look set to once again be the team best set to challenge City and Jurgen Klopp has once again got his side ready to fight on as many fronts as possible.
Chelsea are a side that many expect to be involved again this term, with plenty of money thrown at the challenge of getting themselves back into the top 2, whilst Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte look to be doing good jobs at Arsenal and Tottenham respectively.
Survival will be top of the list for many sides, particularly for newly promoted outfits Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, and Fulham, with the likes of Brentford and Leeds potentially in the scrap too. With so much to play for every week, it promises to be another fascinating Premier League season.
Here are our Premier League 2022/23 season tips:
2022-23 EPL Season Predictions
—
2022-23 EPL Outright Winner
Manchester City – $1.62
Manchester City have been the dominant force in English football for the past decade and they are once again hot favourites to go all the way this season. Pep Guardiola’s unrelenting approach sees City win game after game and their squad depth is unmatched in the Premier League. Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips are the biggest name players to have arrived at the Etihad this summer, with Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and Oleksander Zinchenko having all departed – change looks to be on the horizon in East Manchester. With plenty of big name players in the squad, the blues look to be the favourites to lift another Premier League title.
Liverpool – $3.5
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to build on the incredible season he enjoyed last term and his red men look very much up for the challenge. An unprecedented quadruple was on the cards for much of the campaign last year, with the reds ultimately settling for two trophies, in the form of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. Sustaining a title challenge is something Liverpool will be desperate to do this term and the arrival of Darwin Nunez could be the spark they need this term, with Sadio Mane having left for Bayern Munich. Discarding Liverpool is always a dangerous tactic, and they should be very much in the mix again this term.
Chelsea – $13
It was a difficult campaign for Chelsea last season under Thomas Tuchel, with off the field problems impacting on the playing staff. No trophies were collected in West London last term – something they will be keen to correct this season. Raheem Sterling is the biggest name arrival, and he should provide some much needed X factor to the blues attack, with their inconsistency often their downfall last term. Catching Liverpool and Manchester City will be their priority this term but should either of the aforementioned falter, the blues could cash in.
Tottenham Hotspur- $15
Having never won the Premier League, the weight of expectation on Tottenham Hotspur is often too much to bear but there is a real sense of belief surrounding Spurs this season. Most of the optimism lies with the manager Antonio Conte, who is a serial winner at this level and his summer acquisitions have given observers hope that this could indeed be the season that Tottenham finally break their 60 year duck.

2022-23 EPL Golden Boot Winner
Erling Haaland – Manchester City – $3.95
Manchester City have won the Premier League without a recognised striker for the past two seasons and Erling Haaland has been brought in to fill that void. The Norwegian has banged the goals in everywhere he has been so far in his career and at the tender age of 22, he clearly has plenty to learn. His playing style is unique however and he could terrorise a few defences in the league this season and register a healthy goal tally.
Mohamed Salah – Liverpool – $5.5
Liverpool had an incredible campaign last season and Mohamed Salah returned excellent numbers in front of goal. His partnership with the likes of Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez will be crucial to Liverpool’s success this season, as they transition through the eras at Anfield. Salah has been Liverpool’s talisman ever since his arrival from Roma and if the Egyptian can top the goalscoring charts once again this season, the reds shouldn’t be too far away in the Premier League title race.
Harry Kane – Tottenham – $6
Having turned down a big money move to Manchester City last season; Harry Kane looks to be fully refreshed and ready to make an impact for Tottenham. How far Spurs can go in the title race remains to be seen but the England captain will be key for any potential hopes they have this term and if he gets firing, who knows what could happen at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

2022-23 EPL to be Relegated
Survival is absolutely key in the Premier League but here are our picks to slip into trouble this season:
Bournemouth – $1.45
Having performed well in their previous Premier League stay, writing off Bournemouth is a risk, but the lack of summer acquisitions gives them the look of a side that could go straight back down. Scott Parker has done a good job at the Vitality Stadium, but this is a step up and it will be interesting to see how the Cherries go this term.
Nottingham Forest – $2.25
Having returned to the Premier League for the first time in 20 years, Nottingham Forest will be desperate to test themselves in the top-flight once more. Steve Cooper has done a great job at getting the two-time European Champions back into the promised land but staying there will be his biggest challenge this term.
Fulham – $2.25
Having bounced back instantly from one season in the Championship, Fulham will be doing all they can to enjoy a sustained run in the Premier League. Dominating the Championship is one thing and how the Cottagers would love to prove the doubters wrong and stay up comfortably this term. Marco Silva is an exciting manager, and he will be eager to put himself on the map here.
