Venue: Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium.
FFollowing the summer break, the regular Formula 1 season returns, with Max Verstappen very much in the ascendency in the race for the Formula 1 World Championship title.
The Belgian Grand Prix inevitably provides a stern test for all though and there is sure to be plenty of drama at the Spa circuit once more in 2022, with the race being rained off in 2021.
Away from Verstappen, the likes of Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will all be looking to apply some pressure and pick up valuable points for their own endeavours this term.
Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix Predictions

F1 Belgian Grand Prix Race Winner
In race fourteen of the 2022 Formula One season, all of the biggest names on the grid will be battling for supremacy here in Spa:
Max Verstappen – $2.25
With his incredible win in Hungary his last showing on the F1 circuit, Max Verstappen is a man in fine form as he arrives in Belgium. A second Formula 1 world driver’s championship looks to be all but officially his, with the Dutchman having been the man to catch since the very start of the season. He will be keen to fight of any complacency here, but he could be difficult to stop, with Belgian support sure to be backing him to the hilt.
Charles Leclerc – $6
Despite having lost out to Max Verstappen plenty of times in recent weeks, the general consensus on the grid is that Ferrari and Charles Leclerc have the most pace to put up a fight with the Red Bull contingent. Decisions both on and off the track have hindered Leclerc in recent weeks, which has dented his points tally but there is no doubting his quality and if he gets going, he will push Verstappen all the way.
Lewis Hamilton – $8
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has struggled to put points on the board at times this season but in recent weeks he looks to have got to grips with the Mercedes car and his performances have been hugely improved. Few are better than Hamilton when the chips are down, and the added motivation of not having won a race this season is sure to propel him over the line once this term at least.

F1 Belgian Grand Prix Top Six Finish
Race 14 of the season here at in Spa presents an opportunity for every driver to keep putting points on the board:
George Russell – $1.25
One of the bright sparks for Mercedes this season has been the emergence of George Russell, who now really looks to contend at the very top of Formula 1. The young Brit is fearless and now looks to be fully getting a handle on the Mercedes car this year and he should be well in contention for a top 6 showing this weekend.
Carlos Sainz – $1.33
With a race win under his belt already this season, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz is another driver who is enjoying a good season and he and Charles Leclerc will be eager to build on it ahead of the next campaign. The Spaniard is a natural racer and with plenty of points up for grabs here in Belgium, he will be desperate to add to his and Ferrari’s tally here in Belgium.
Lando Norris – $2
In the week where Daniel Riccardo’s departure from McLaren has made headlines, Lando Norris will be looking to do his talking on the track for McLaren. The young Brit has snuck under the radar somewhat this season and his results haven’t been as impressive as they have in other campaigns, but he has pace to burn, and he could be a top 6 contender here in Belgium this weekend.
